Memorial to the Jewish Holocaust Victims from Hirschberg

27 Jews from Grosssachsen and Leutershausen were victims of the Holocaust. The Nazis did not only kill the Jews, moreover, they aimed to wipe out their names and all references to their home villages to avoid any remembering of their existence. The memorial will keep the memory of the victims alive. It was designed by the German artist Myriam Holme and stands on the square next to the Former Synagogue of Leutershausen.
